Demands Full Repeal of Obamacare, New Solutions for Medicare, Health care
Atlanta, GA – The American Seniors Association, the nation’s fastest growing seniors’ advocacy organization, today condemned the Supreme Court’s decision to affirm the individual mandate portion of Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) as a tax.
"Obamacare was passed under the worst possible circumstances, with too many closed door, too many manipulations and too little honesty with the American people, particularly American seniors," said Phil Kent, CEO of American Seniors Association. "If ever there was a call to action for Americans of all ages, this is it. We need Congress to repeal the law and replace it with new solutions that respect the rule of law, constitutional rights and America’s seniors."
American Seniors Association has consistently opposed Obamacare from its inception, and it has gained members and trust throughout the Obamacare debate, by not only opposing the onerous policies that infringe on American seniors’ freedoms, but also the trillions in additional costs to all taxpayers.
"Today’s ruling proves what many Americans have known for years — we can’t rely on the courts to save us from unwise legislation, we must do it ourselves," says Kent. "We must elect people who share our values of limited government and taxes, responsible spending and personal freedom and individual liberty. That is why this November’s election is so important to the future of our country and the lives of our children and grandchildren."
